Lesley honours Paolo Knill

Dr. Paolo Knill was honored by Lesley University for his pioneering in Expressive Arts Therapy during the Centennial Celebration on the Cambridge Campus, August 12, 2009. With original music by Stan Strickland the birth of the Expressive Arts Therapy Division 1973 was commemorated to celebrate the founder Dr. Shaun McNiff and his collaborators.

The profession Expressive Arts Therapist is already 36 years old and has spread around the world and into new applications as for instance, Expressive Arts in Supervision, Coaching, Consulting. What is not enough recognized, however, is the fact that Expressive Arts and Education was offered right from the beginning with the specialization “Creative Arts and Learning”.
